I’ve recently been reading about Volvo’s new V60 wagon and decided to build one for myself. It certainly is a striking vehicle done quite well by the Swedish wagon masters.
Seeing as though there is no Polestar edition , I opted for the R-design trim . I added the Advanced package and a few key accessories.
I wish they gave me a final price but if I had to guess, I’ d be pushing $ 45-47K .

it’s a great looking car, I would absolutely drive one. too bad I’ m about 30,000/year shy of the target audience.

I would configure it exactly like this. Such a handsome design inside and out. I would either lease or have to wait 3 years to pick one up but I won’t have a say in colors and options.

Probably depends on where you live. We make comfortably more than that (although not middle aged yet) but after mortgage and childcare no way in hell we can afford a ~$50k car! About half that is probably the upper end of our budget.
Perhaps the middle aged part will help though as we get older and kid is no longer in daycare and student loans are a distant memory.

Exactly later I Life when kids are moved out and mortgage is paid off the you can get a nice car. Or several crappy ones. I’m aiming for the later

So, quantity over quality you say? Sounds like a good plan!
